Job summary

Hilltop Meats Pty Ltd in Young, NSW is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure plant facilities operate efficiently and safely.

You will train and mentor technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, and manage rostering while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced meat processing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
• Trade background with hands-on technical expertise.
• Experience in processing or production environments.
• Staff rostering experience and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• A hands-on approach with strategic thinking capability.
• Fitting or electrical trade qualification (desirable).
• Meat processing industry experience (desirable).
• Current forklift and EWP tickets (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and protect the safety of your team and others affected by maintenance work.
• Actively participate in safety consultation and reporting.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our maintenance team and work closely with our onsite Maintenance Manager. This is your opportunity to develop your leadership skills while ensuring our facilities run efficiently and supporting the growth of your team.

As Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in our operations, coordinating maintenance activities, responding to critical issues, and driving continuous improvement across our site.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting Your Team
