Job summary

CBRE Local in Sydney CBD is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage operational, compliance and planned maintenance across functions, ensuring contract standards. You will oversee engineering technicians, uphold SLAs/KPIs, and coordinate with subcontractors in a dynamic facilities management environment.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality hard services, maintaining QHSE documentation, and supporting the Site FM to ensure service excellence for our client in a busy Sydney location.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with FCU/VAV maintenance experience.
• Experience in a similar customer-facing role in a medium-sized business.
• Proven experience using CMMS/CAFM systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering technicians and ensure statutory compliance and both planned and reactive maintenance delivery for the site.
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs are achieved for operational delivery for Reactive and Planned Maintenance.
• Oversee the supply chain including sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Provide technical and operational support to the engineering team.
• Support the Site FM for the site location as needed.
• Provide after-hours on-call support as part of the roster.
• Generate extra works through site walk-arounds and communication with sub contractors.
• Maintain QHSE documentation and ensure it is readily available.

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be expected to manage all aspects of operational, compliance and planned maintenance across all functions.

Here is a snapshot of your day:

• Responsible for the engineering technician and ensure statutory compliance and both planned/reactive maintenance delivery for the site.
• Ensure that SLAs and KPIs are achieved for operational delivery for both Reactive and Planned Maintenance activities.
• Management of the supply chain including sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Provide technical and operational support to the engineering team
• Support the Site FM, as needed for the site location.
• Provide outside of normal hours support in the case of call out/escalation as part of an on-call roster
• Generation of extra works through site walk arounds and communication with sub contractors
• Ensuring QHSE documentation is maintained and readily available.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong understanding and experience of a technical discipline (trade qualified) with experience in maintaining FCU's/VAV's

Demonstrable experience in a similar customer facing role with medium sized business.

Previous experience of using a CMMS or CAFM system.

Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
