Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking an engineering maintenance specialist in Sydney to join our dedicated hard service delivery team. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensure statutory compliance, and support the Site Facility Manager on daily operations.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, meeting SLAs/KPIs, and maintaining QHSE documentation while offering on-call support as required. This is a full-time, on-site position in Sydney CBD.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Experience maintaining FCUs and VAVs in a facilities environment.
• Familiarity with CMMS/CAFM systems for work orders and asset tracking.
• Strong organisational abilities to prioritise workloads and meet SLAs.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinated site support and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering technician services and ensure statutory compliance for the site.
• Meet SLAs and KPIs for reactive and planned maintenance activities.
• Manage supply chain including sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Provide technical and operational support to the engineering team.
• Support Site FM and provide after-hours call-out support as needed.
• Generate extra works via site walks and subcontractor communications.
• Maintain QHSE documentation and ensure it is readily available.

Here Is a Snapshot Of Your Day

• Responsible for the engineering technician and ensure statutory compliance and both planned/reactive maintenance delivery for the site.
• Ensure that SLAs and KPIs are achieved for operational delivery for both Reactive and Planned Maintenance activities.
• Management of the supply chain including sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Provide technical and operational support to the engineering team
• Support the Site FM, as needed for the site location.
• Provide outside of normal hours support in the case of call out/escalation as part of an on-call roster
• Generation of extra works through site walk arounds and communication with sub contractors
• Ensuring QHSE documentation is maintained and readily available.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding and experience of a technical discipline (trade qualified) with experience in maintaining FCU's/VAV's
• Demonstrable experience in a similar customer facing role with medium sized business.
• Previous experience of using a CMMS or CAFM system.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
