Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a trusted client located in Melbourne's South-East. You’ll lead the day-to-day maintenance activities across a busy manufacturing site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards while supporting plant reliability and operational performance.

This role offers a day-shift, Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate from $50.46 per hour plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Hold a trade qualification or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrate strong maintenance workflow management and planning capability.
• Experience coordinating preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Possess a strong understanding of permits, isolations, and safe work systems.
• Have experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems.
• Be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the site.
• Supervise maintenance trades personnel and contractors.
• Manage preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Respond to equipment failures and coordinate troubleshooting and repair work.
• Prioritise maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and maximise plant availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety systems, permits, isolations, and site procedures.
• Work closely with Maintenance Planners and Operations teams to manage maintenance priorities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order completion within CMMS systems.
• Support reliability improvement initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

• Temporary Assignment

What you will be required to do:

You’ll lead the day-to-day execution of maintenance activities across a busy manufacturing site, ensuring maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards while supporting plant reliability and operational performance.

To be successful in the role you will:
