This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands on Maintenance Supervisor or Leading Hand to step into a key leadership role within a fast paced waste processing and resource recovery environment.

The Role

In this role, you will lead day to day maintenance activities on the floor, ensuring plant equipment operates safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved in maintenance operations, problem solving on the tools and taking ownership of plant reliability.

You’ll be responsible for driving preventative maintenance, fault finding, shutdown coordination and continuous improvement initiatives in a high volume waste processing and resource recovery environment where safety, uptime and efficiency are critical.

About You

• Experienced supervisor or leading hand from a manufacturing or industrial background.
• Strong fault finding and troubleshooting capability across plant and equipment.
• Confident leading, mentoring and developing apprentices.
• Solid understanding of preventative maintenance systems and CMMS.
• Strong safety mindset with a proactive approach to risk and compliance.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands on environment with competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with operations and external stakeholders.
