Job summary

Action Drill & Blast (ADB) invites applications for a Maintenance Supervisor at the South Walker Creek project on an 8/6 roster, DIDO. The role provides leadership to maintenance personnel, ensures planned and breakdown maintenance meets client requirements, and drives continuous improvement to maximise equipment availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a Maintenance Supervisor or similar supervisory role.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Experience maintaining drill rigs, mobile plant, site equipment.
• Strong knowledge of preventative, scheduled and breakdown maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Right to live and work in Australia on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate visible safety leadership by promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring risk management processes, permits, safe work practices, and participating in inspections and investigations.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all planned, preventive, predictive, corrective, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance activities to maximise equipment availability and performance.
• Coordinate labour, contractors, tools, parts, and resources to complete maintenance on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor equipment condition and maintenance performance, identify reliability issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation, work orders, inspections, service records, timesheets, and reporting are completed and maintained within our maintenance management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the ProjectManager, you will beresponsible for, but notlimited to:

Monitor equipmentcondition andmaintenanceperformance,identifyreliability issues,participate in rootcause analysis, andimplementcontinuousimprovementinitiatives to improve assetperformance andreducedowntime.

Ensure allmaintenancedocumentation, workorders, statutoryinspections,service records,timesheets, andreportingrequirements areaccuratelycompleted andmaintained withinthe company'smaintenancemanagementsystems.

About You:

Minimum 5+ years’experience in aMaintenanceSupervisor, LeadingHand, Senior Fitteror similarsupervisory role,preferably withinmining, drilling,quarrying, civilconstruction orheavyindustry.

Demonstratedexperiencesupervising andcoordinatingmaintenancepersonnel, contractors andday-to-daymaintenanceactivities.

Demonstratedexperiencemaintaining andrepairing drillrigs, mobile plant,light vehicles andassociated siteequipment.

Strong knowledge ofpreventative,scheduled andbreakdownmaintenance, faultfinding andequipmentreliability.

Demonstratedability to plan,prioritise andallocatemaintenance tasksto meet operationaland productionrequirements.

Qualifications:

Trade Certificate -Certificate III inEngineering –Mechanical Trade orequivalentrecognisedmechanical tradequalification.

Current AustralianDriver Licence

Formalqualification ortraining inleadership,supervision ormanagement(Desirable)
