Job summary

Coronado Curragh in Blackwater, Australia, seeks an experienced CHPP Maintenance Leader to head the operational maintenance function. You will drive reliability, safety, and continuous improvement while delivering production targets and leading a high-performing team.

This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating with Operations to plan weekly maintenance and shutdowns, managing budgets and KPIs, and building strong site relationships.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading fixed plant maintenance teams within coal processing, mineral processing or heavy industrial operations.
• Experience leading multidiscipline trade teams.

• A sound understanding of maintenance planning, shutdown execution and asset reliability.

Job description

Reporting to the Manager CHPP, you will lead the operational maintenance function across the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP), ensuring maintenance activities are safely executed while supporting the delivery of production targets.

This is a hands on leadership role where you'll work closely with the Operations team to optimise plant reliability, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop a high performing maintenance team.
