Job summary

Glencore's McArthur River Mine (MRM) is seeking an experienced MST Supervisor to lead the Maintenance Services Team onsite, coordinating maintenance across facilities and ensuring work is performed safely and to a high standard.

Reporting to the MST Superintendent, you will manage a diverse crew of trades and semi-skilled personnel, work with the planner to schedule and track work orders, and drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Building, or related discipline.
• S1/S2/S3 Surface Mining certifications or equivalent leadership qualifications.
• Current Forklift Licence.
• Supervisory experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience with SAP or similar CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily maintenance activities, ensuring work is prioritised and completed to operational needs.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and statutory maintenance programs across site facilities.
• Work with the MST Planner to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and system compliance.
• Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, inspections, and risk management.
• Monitor maintenance performance, identify improvements, and manage backlogs.
• Supervise employees and contractors, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Support workforce planning including rostering, leave, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Maintain accurate records and provide reporting to support business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support site operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
