Job summary

Blackbook Executive Pty is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our engineering team in Woodford, Queensland. The role focuses on coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to boost asset reliability, minimise downtime and meet budget targets.

You will work closely with Engineering, Production and Stores to ensure comprehensive scoping, accurate scheduling, and timely execution of maintenance work within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience planning maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of CMMS platforms (MEX, SAP or similar).
• Ability to coordinate labour, materials, and contractors for maintenance work.
• Understanding of maintenance budgeting and cost control.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Engineering, Production, Stores and other stakeholders to scope and plan maintenance jobs before scheduling.
• Develop accurate weekly, monthly, and shutdown maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate labour, materials, spare parts, tools and contractor resources.
• Close out work orders and maintain relevant maintenance records.
• Maintain CMMS data including preventative maintenance schedules and asset information.
• Utilise CMMS systems to improve planning, scheduling, reporting and asset performance.
• Support procurement to ensure spare parts and materials are available when required.
• Assist with maintenance budgeting, cost tracking and reporting.
