Job summary

OLC Care is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our residential aged care maintenance team. The role includes maintenance, repairs, and garden work across sites with occasional travel.

Trade or handyman background with strong time management and WHS knowledge is essential; good customer service and English communication skills are required. Ability to work independently or in a team is preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade or handyman background with repairs and garden work.
• Ability to determine when a qualified tradesperson is required.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong WHS and manual handling understanding.
• Good communication and customer service skills; English proficient.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our maintenance team at OLC Care (residential aged care).

Some travel might be needed for various jobs across sites

Key Criteria:

Trade or handyman background with general repairs and garden maintenance experiences and skills

Ability to determine when qualified trade person is required

Ability to maintain preventative maintenance program

Good understanding of manual handling and WHS

Sound organisation and time management skills

Team player & good work ethics

Ability to work effectively and independently

Experienced in residential aged care setting is a big plus.

Good customer service and communication skills

Demonstrated good oral and written English skills

Digital literacy skills such as using mobile devices andweb applications preferable

Current Police Check is required.
