Job summary

Campus Living Villages Australia is seeking a friendly, practical all-rounder to join the Facilities team as a maintenance-focused role. You will perform day-to-day maintenance across village facilities, assist with safety procedures, and support the Facilities Manager in coordinating tasks.

This on-site role values hands-on problem solving, a safety mindset, and good interpersonal skills. A current Police Clearance and a valid driver’s license are preferred, and the company offers an inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience in general facilities and maintenance / repairs.
• Friendly and enjoy interacting with people.
• Comfortable with physical work.
• Demonstrated initiative to problem solving.
• OH&S, Risk or Safety mindset (related qualification would be highly regarded).
• Current National Police Clearance Check and Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provision of day-to-day maintenance services to keep village facilities in good order (plumbing, carpentry, moving items).
• Conduct quarterly inspections of resident apartments to ensure standards.
• Coordinate suppliers and contractors with Facilities Manager to ensure services are delivered safely.
• Follow and promote safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Adapt to evolving needs of residents and the business.

Reporting through the Facilities Team, we are looking for a friendly, reliable, practical all-rounder with a safety mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision of day-to-day maintenance services, to ensure all village facilities remain in good order e.g. basic plumbing and carpentry, moving items such as fridges, mattresses
• Conduct quarterly inspections of resident’s apartments to ensure that they are maintained to appropriate standard
• Assist Facilities Manager in coordinating suppliers and contractors to ensure services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with agreed requirements
• Follow and promote safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
• The responsibilities of this role may evolve based on the changing needs of our residents and the business. We seek candidates who are adaptable and open to taking on new challenges as they arise.
