Opal HealthCare is seeking a proactive Maintenance Officer for Templestowe Woodlands Care Community. The role focuses on keeping the home safe, functional and well-maintained for residents, with Monday–Friday hours and an attractive hourly rate plus superannuation.

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, help with minor projects, and ensure compliance with WHS standards while delivering reliable, friendly service to residents and staff.

• Proven experience in maintenance, repairs and minor projects.
• Strong WHS practices and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs and minor projects across the community and gardens.
• Ensure safety and compliance with WHS regulations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, minimising resident disruption.
• Manage maintenance supplies and equipment within budget.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
