Job summary

McCallum Disability Services Inc. in Ballarat, VIC is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our Home Maintenance & Landscaping team, reporting to the Home Maintenance & Landscaping Manager.

The role supports and supervises supported employees on home maintenance tasks in the community and oversees in-house maintenance across McCallum sites. You will bring experience in general maintenance/repairs, supported by a related trade qualification, and demonstrate ability to quote work and manage

This role will support and supervise supported employees on both home maintenance tasks in the community for our customers, and in house maintenance across McCallum Sites.

You bring experience in general maintenance/repairs, supported with a related trade qualification

You have demonstrated understanding of job quoting and ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget

You have a genuine commitment to choice, control and inclusion for people with a disability

You’re a collaborative team player who contributes to a positive, inclusive workplace and enjoys mentoring, coaching, and supporting others to succeed.

You remain calm under pressure, using initiative and problem-solving skills to navigate unexpected situations.
