Job summary

Glencore's Collinsville Open Cut in North Queensland is hiring multiple experienced fitters and auto-electricians to maintain and repair large mining equipment. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and join a team focused on safe, efficient operations.

Positions are permanent full-time on a 7/7 day-night roster with camp accommodation and meals provided. Trade-qualified candidates with CAT/Komatsu experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications - Plant Mechanic / Diesel Fitters and Heavy Mobile Equipment Auto Electricians.
• Knowledge and experience on Caterpillar and Komatsu large mining machinery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of and commitment to risk management and safe work practices.
• Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
