Job summary

Mirvac’s LIV Aston in Melbourne seeks an experienced maintenance and facilities professional to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the asset, ensuring safety, presentation, compliance and efficient performance. You will deliver outstanding customer service to residents and tenants while coordinating contractors and planning proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, facilities, handyman or building services role.
• Strong knowledge of building operations, safety and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with building management systems (BMCS) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers, tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct daily inspections of plant, equipment and common areas to ensure operational readiness and presentation standards.
• Identify and coordinate maintenance, repair and safety requirements.
• Undertake hands‑on maintenance tasks as required, including patching, painting, basic carpentry, landscaping and appliance inspections.
• Manage work orders and support minor operational and capital projects.
• Managing contractor performance and service delivery.
• Monitor risks, escalate critical issues and support compliance requirements, including fire safety obligations.
• Contribute to asset performance, sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement.

LIV Aston is Mirvac's second Build to Rent development in Melbourne, featuring 474 apartments, extensive resident amenities, wellness facilities, retail space, and strong sustainability credentials.

About the role

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of our asset, ensuring it is safe, well-presented, compliant and operating efficiently. You'll deliver exceptional customer service, proactively identify maintenance needs, coordinate contractors and help create a great experience for our customers and tenants.

What you'll do
