Job summary

Ennio International, a South Australian textile manufacturer, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across sites and drive reliability. You will work closely with stakeholders to minimize downtime and enhance safety and quality across production lines.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on leadership, strong problem solving and a proactive approach, with engineering or trade qualifications and experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in textile manufacturing or similar fast paced environment.
• Experience in food production or similar production environment.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to quality systems, HACCP or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive safety culture.
• Manage the maintenance team and resources.
• Maximise equipment uptime and support production efficiency.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance with departments.
• Work with Production to minimise machine downtime.
• Strategic on-the-floor planning to troubleshoot issues.
• Lead repairs and drive improvements across mechanical, electrical, automation.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs for reliability.
• Coordinate external maintenance providers and projects.
• Oversee equipment installations and improvements.
• Investigate breakdowns and implement preventative actions.
• Provide technical advice to USA manufacturing when required.

Role Highlights

To achieve success as our Maintenance Manager, you will bring your existing acquired Maintenance Manager skills and experience to all our teams. You will work closely with all key stakeholders in ensuring equipment reliability, minimise production downtime and support continuous improvement across our sites.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to because we are team focused)

• Foster a positive safety culture.
• Manage the maintenance team ensuring effective utilisation of resources.
• Having a key focus on maximising equipment uptime, while supporting production efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to the necessary safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Liaise with all departments to coordinate the day-to-day maintenance activities within our sites.
• Work closely with our Production team to minimise machinery downtime.
• Strategic planning with direct, on-the-floor involvement to troubleshoot issues
• Lead repairs, and drive continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Coordinate, develop and manage preventative maintenance programs ensuring maximum equipment reliability.
• Coordinate external maintenance service providers in a timely manner.
• Coordinate equipment installations and improvement projects.
• Investigate and resolve equipment breakdowns and implement preventative strategies and outcomes.
• Support our USA manufacturing operation with technical advice when required.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in textile manufacturing or a similar fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food production or similar production environment
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
• Exposure to quality systems, HACCP or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and dedicated manufacturing CMS or CMMS.
• Engineering Degree or trade qualification.
