Job summary

CHEP Kemps Creek Service Centre is seeking a Maintenance Lead to keep the site safe, reliable and productive as automation expands. You will lead from the front, mentor the team and drive a culture of accountability across maintenance.

Responsibilities include coordinating preventive maintenance, managing contractors and spares, and driving continuous improvement using MEX CMMS in a highly automated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics or automated environments.
• Exposure to CMMS platforms (ideally MEX).
• Hands-on maintenance leadership experience.
• Willingness to support occasional weekend overtime requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, accountability and teamwork on site.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Support hands-on maintenance and breakdown response when required.
• Manage contractors, spare parts, maintenance schedules and purchasing.
• Build strong relationships across operations, administration and leadership teams.
• Develop maintenance team capability.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability and equipment performance.
• Utilise MEX and maintenance systems to plan, track and improve outcomes.
