Job summary

Spaces x Get Parked is hiring a Maintenance Handyman to look after multiple South East QLD sites. You will perform regular maintenance, landscaping, painting and minor repairs, with a focus on safety, cleanliness and reliability.

You’ll coordinate with trades when specialist work is required and help prepare new sites for opening. Applicants should have 2+ years in maintenance or related trades, hold a Driver's licence and a White Card, and be punctual.

• Driver's licence and White Card.
• You turn up, every day, on time.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance rounds across sites.
• Mowing, trimming, gardens and green waste.
• Pressure washing, painting and general repairs.
• Install/repair signs, wheel stops, bollards, fencing and gates.
• Clear rubbish and assist trades as needed.
• First call when something breaks; coordinate fixes.

The job

You own how our sites look and work. If something's untidy, broken or not working, it's yours to fix or get fixed.

What you'll do

• Regular maintenance rounds across our sites
• Mowing, trimming, gardens and green waste
• Pressure washing, painting and general repairs
• Signs, wheel stops, bollards, fencing and gates
• Clearing rubbish and dumped items
• Being first call when something breaks. Fix it yourself, or book the right trade (sparkies, plumbers, gate and roller door techs) and make sure it's done properly
• First checks on boom gates, payment kiosks, cameras and access systems
• Helping get new sites ready to open

What you need

• 2+ years in maintenance, handyman, landscaping or trade work
• Driver's licence and White Card
• You turn up, every day, on time. This matters more to us than anything else
• Comfortable using a phone for photos and job notes

Bonus points for

• A trade ticket
• CCTV, access control or security system experience
• Experience organising trades or getting quotes
