Job summary

Spaces x Get Parked is looking for a Maintenance Handyman to keep our South East QLD sites well-presented and fully functional. You’ll perform regular maintenance rounds, garden care, cleaning, and basic repairs across different sites.

You’ll coordinate with trades when specialist work is needed, manage CCTV/access control familiarity, and help prep new sites for opening. A reliable, on-time presence is essential in our growing, multi-site operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in maintenance, handyman, landscaping or trade work.
• Driver's license and White Card required.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Comfortable using a phone for photos and job notes.
• A trade ticket is required.
• Experience with CCTV or access control systems is preferred.
• Experience coordinating trades or obtaining quotes.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance rounds across multiple sites.
• Mowing, trimming, gardens and garden waste handling.
• Pressure washing, painting and general repairs.
• Install and maintain signage, wheel stops, bollards, fencing and gates.
• Clear rubbish and dumped items; keep sites tidy.
• Be the first responder when something breaks; coordinate repairs.
• Conduct checks on boom gates, payment kiosks, cameras and access systems.
• Assist in getting new sites ready to open.

The job

You own how our sites look and work. If something's untidy, broken or not working, it's yours to fix or get fixed.

What you'll do

• Regular maintenance rounds across our sites
• Mowing, trimming, gardens and green waste
• Pressure washing, painting and general repairs
• Signs, wheel stops, bollards, fencing and gates
• Clearing rubbish and dumped items
• Being first call when something breaks. Fix it yourself, or book the right trade (sparkies, plumbers, gate and roller door techs) and make sure it's done properly
• First checks on boom gates, payment kiosks, cameras and access systems
• Helping get new sites ready to open

What you need

• 2+ years in maintenance, handyman, landscaping or trade work
• Driver's licence and White Card
• You turn up, every day, on time. This matters more to us than anything else
• Comfortable using a phone for photos and job notes
• A trade ticket
• CCTV, access control or security system experience
• Experience organising trades or getting quotes
