Job summary

Express Employment Professionals – Sydney Hills District NSW is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for a permanent, full-time role in Norwest. You will maintenance across diverse production equipment, perform preventative and reactive repairs, and support continuous improvement to keep the plant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Fitter qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Maintenance Fitter role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills in mechanical systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical/hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production and plant equipment.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance and installations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Fabricate guards, supports and brackets; perform precision measurements.
• Coordinate with external contractors and manage spare parts.
• Utilise CMMS to record maintenance activities and drive improvements.
