Job summary

CSR Limited, at the PGH Bricks Bringelly site in New South Wales, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter. The role supports a 24/7 production facility with a Monday–Friday day shift, performing preventative and corrective maintenance across diverse production equipment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will troubleshoot faults, work with hydraulics and pneumatics, weld and fabricate, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring safe operations and adherence to site

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Certifications: Confined Space, Working at Heights, First Aid (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance, inspections and planned repairs.
• Troubleshooting mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns.
• Supporting corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Fabricating and modifying plant equipment as required.
• Welding and mechanical fitting across production assets.
• Installing and replacing bearings and other components.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely per site procedures.
