Job summary

PGH Bricks in Bringelly is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our 24/7 manufacturing site. You will maintain plant reliability, support production performance and ensure safe, efficient operation across a heavy industry environment.

The role is a Monday–Friday day shift with start times at 5:00am or 6:00am. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of production equipment, contributing to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong fault-finding skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
• Holding high-risk licences training may be provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance, inspections and planned repairs.
• Troubleshooting mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns.
• Supporting corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Fabricating and modifying plant equipment as required.
• Welding and mechanical fitting across production assets.
• Installing and replacing bearings and other components.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
