Job summary

Corestaff in South Australia is seeking experienced Fitters and Shift Fitters to join a well-established manufacturing operation. You will be responsible for breakdown maintenance, preventative maintenance, fault finding, and keeping production moving in a safety-focused environment.

The role offers an attractive hourly rate on a casual basis, with temp-to-perm opportunities and a path to a long-term position within a stable site.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Fitter / Mechanical Fitter with relevant qualifications.
• Manufacturing or production environment experience is essential.
• Strong breakdown and preventative maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment efficiently.
• Comfortable working independently or in a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown maintenance and fault finding across manufacturing equipment and plant.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
• Work closely with production teams to respond to equipment issues and keep operations running.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance while working in a production environment.
