Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter to maintain and improve production equipment in a high-volume manufacturing setting in Western Australia. This permanent role requires hands-on mechanical maintenance experience and a proactive approach to reliability and safety.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement improvements to keep production running efficiently. Visa sponsorship may be available for suitably qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter.
• Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing or high-volume production.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working with automated production machinery and fixed plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance across production machinery and fixed plant.
• Respond to mechanical breakdowns and restore equipment to safe operating condition.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify root causes.
• Maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, bearings and pneumatics systems.
• Support production teams by reducing unplanned downtime.
