Job summary

Linktal Recruitment is seeking a maintenance fitter for a permanent day-shift role near Lidcombe, NSW. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and contribute to the reliability of food manufacturing equipment on site.

The role requires a trade-qualified fitter with food-manufacturing experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision within a Monday–Friday schedule on early morning shifts. AUD 50–57 per hour plus super.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified fitter required in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with production machinery and line equipment.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and taking initiative.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, fault-finding, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain and improve the reliability of production equipment.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
