Job summary

Barrett Burston Malting, part of Soufflet Malt, the Geelong malt plant is seeking a full-time Maintenance Electrician to support the safe and reliable operation of our manufacturing facility. You will undertake preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response and continuous improvement activities across the site.

This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor with a Monday to Friday day shift roster, and occasional after-hours breakdowns and weekend call-outs to support site

Qualifications

Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence.
Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with PLC automation systems, particularly Schneider PLCs and Citect SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

Electrical maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
Preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical, PLC and control systems.
Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, electrical regulations and site safety requirements.
