Job summary

Symmetry Human Resources is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician for a modern, highly automated manufacturing site in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. This is a stable, long-term role offering exposure to the latest technology and equipment.

The role covers preventative and breakdown maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and driving improvements with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability. A minimum 3 years post-trade experience and an Electrical Trade Qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification required.
• Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills; PLC experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and PLC-related issues.
• Identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and running checks.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and reliability.
