As the successful candidate, you will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault-finding on PLC-controlled equipment, and collaborate with a skilled team to ensure equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Electrical Fitter / Electrician with Cert III or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, automation or industrial maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, control panels and fault-finding.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors and PLC systems.
• Assist with installation, wiring and commissioning of new equipment.
• Conduct electrical safety testing and inspections per standards.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and records.
• Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams to improve uptime.
• Comply with electrical safety regulations and quality standards.

The Role

As an Maintenance Electrician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated electrical systems and equipment within a fast-paced, high-technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical and control systems across automated equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLC-controlled systems, and other plant machinery.
• Assist with the installation, wiring, and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
• Conduct electrical safety testing and inspections in accordance with relevant standards.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance documentation.
• Work collaboratively with mechanical and automation teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Comply with all electrical safety regulations and company quality standards.

About You

• Trade qualified Electrical Fitter / Electrician (Cert III or equivalent).
