Job summary

National Workforce Pty Ltd partners with a leading Australian food manufacturer to recruit an experienced Maintenance Electrician for their Revesby site. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a fast-paced production facility.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will read electrical schematics, diagnose faults, troubleshoot PLCs and VSDs, perform preventative maintenance and liaise with production and contractors to minimise downtime while

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence (essential).
• Proven fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.

• Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

National Workforce is partnering with a leading Australian food manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team at their Revesby site. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrician looking to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to a broad range of electrical, mechanical and automation systems.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across a busy production facility. The role requires a proactive person who enjoys problem-solving and is comfortable supporting all aspects of site maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

• Current NSW Electrical Licence (essential).
• Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, pharmaceutical or similar industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience working with PLCs, instrumentation and automated production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Flexible approach to maintenance activities and team support.

Highly Regarded

• Food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Exposure to packaging machinery and automated production lines.
• Experience working across both electrical and mechanical maintenance disciplines.
