Job summary

Alstom in Lilyfield, NSW, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing and rail maintenance team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock, diagnose electrical faults, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent) and NSW Electrical Licence, with strong fault-finding skills and experience in industrial or automation environments.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent) is required.
• NSW Electrical Licence is required.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Heavy maintenance or Automation is desirable.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Electrician, Your key responsibilities willinclude:

• Performing Preventive and Correctivemaintenance on the rollingstock.
• Electrical fault finding, diagnosticsand troubleshooting.

• Completing maintenance activities inaccordance with strict safety and quality procedures.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (orequivalent)
• NSW ElectricalLicence
• Strong electrical fault-finding andtroubleshooting skills.
• Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Heavymaintenance or Automation highly desirable.
• A strong commitment to workplace health andsafety.
• The ability to work effectively bothindependently and as part of a team.

Site Location: Lilyfield, NSW

Contract Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of permanent position.

Shift Details: 11-hour shifts Day Shift: 5 AM - 4 PM; Night Shift: 4 PM - 3 AM

Pay Rate: $62.29 per hour + super + applicable penalties(including a 30% night shift loading, where applicable)
