Job summary

Tassal is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for our Lidcombe, NSW facility on an permanent afternoon shift (12:00pm - 8:00pm). You’ll respond to breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and read electrical drawings to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates hold an Australian Electrical Licence and a trade qualification, with Australian working rights and FMCG/manufacturing experience. Overtime and Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Electrical Licence is required.
• Trade qualification as Electrician is required.
• Full Australian working rights required.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing/food production or similar preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach required.
• Flexibility for overtime and occasional Saturday work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and equipment faults.
• Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics

• Working closely with the wider maintenance team to minimise downtime
• Promoting and maintaining a strong safety-first culture

What we're looking for

• Current Australian Electrical Licence
