Job summary

Blackbook Executive is seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business in Sydney's industrial precinct. You will work Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 10:30pm, keeping production equipment running safely, reliably and efficiently in a highly automated environment.

Overtime is available and FMCG experience is highly regarded but not essential. The role involves planned and preventative electrical maintenance, fault-finding on automated machinery, PLCs,

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification required.
• Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors and VSDs.
• FMCG or food manufacturing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventative electrical maintenance.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns and fault finding.
• Troubleshoot production and automated machinery.
• Diagnose faults across electrical control systems.
• Work with motors, sensors, PLCs, VSDs and control systems.
• Carry out electrical repairs, modifications and installations.
• Assist with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety and electrical compliance.

Role: Maintenance Electrician

Company: Leading FMCGbusiness with a fantastic culture & reputation

Rate: $45-52 an hour + 15% shift loading

Roster: Monday to Friday 2:30pm – 10:30pm

We are currently seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday afternoon shift within a busy and highly automated production environment. FMCG or food manufacturing experience is highly regarded, but not essential.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely, reliably and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned and preventative electrical maintenance
• Attending to electrical breakdowns and fault finding
• Troubleshooting production and automated machinery
• Diagnosing faults across electrical control systems
• Working with motors, sensors, PLCs, VSDs and control systems
• Carrying out electrical repairs, modifications and installations
• Assisting with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and electrical compliance

About You

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Electrician who has:

• A recognised Electrical trade qualification
• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with automated production equipment
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors and VSDs
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive approach to preventative maintenance
• FMCG or food manufacturing experience – highly desirable
