Job summary

Thomas Foods International is recruiting multiple Maintenance Electricians for our Victoria facilities, including Stawell. You will ensure reliability, safety and performance of plant and equipment, working with production and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, fault finding and CMMS record-keeping, with safety as a priority and opportunities for long‑term career progression in a leading Australian food manufacturer.

Qualifications

  • Two+ years Aus/NZ industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Current Australian A-Class/A-Grade Electrical Licence or NZ EWRB Licence with eligibility to convert to AU licence.
  • CMMS experience, preferably MEX or similar system.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills for equipment breakdowns.
  • Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs and control circuits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

As part of our national recruitment campaign, we are seeking multiple experienced Maintenance Electricians to join our maintenance teams across our processing facilities in Victoria.

Stawell – Footstep to the Grampians, 2.5 hrs from Melbourne
  • Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off Afternoon Shift
About the Role

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety and performance of our plant and equipment.

Working closely with the production and maintenance teams, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preventative and scheduled electrical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment, PLC and control circuit troubleshooting
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures

Your contribution will help maximise plant reliability, minimise downtime and support the efficient operation of our processing facilities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong commitment to workplace safety & continuous improvement
  • A minimum of two years' Aus/NZ industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • A current, Australian A-Class/A-Grade Electrical Licence OR unrestricted New Zealand EWRB Electrician Licence & be willing and eligible to convert to an Australian licence. Note: Restricted New Zealand electrical licences are not eligible
  • Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably MEX or a similar system
  • Strong fault-finding & diagnostic skills with the ability to respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
  • Sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs & control circuits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
