Job summary

JBS Australia is seeking a full-time Electrician for our Scone Plant to maintain electrical systems across the site and ensure reliable operation. You will support safety, quality and continuous improvement while working within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role offers a competitive salary and the potential to earn $60,000–$80,000 or more with allowances and overtime, paid under the organisational EBA-Industrial Agreement. Shift rosters apply, including day and afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance/repair experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of maintenance work management practices.
• Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures.
• Demonstrates integrity and professional work attitude.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts (day and afternoon).

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant assets are available, reliable and capable.
• Monitor and address maintenance tasks progress.
• Continuously improve plant equipment and systems.
• Communicate with management on maintenance issues.
• Apply quality control techniques.
• Proactively implement preventative maintenance.
• Assist with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair.

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled full time Electrician at our Scone Plant. We are seeking a passionate, energetic individual who is committed to providing effective professional service. This role is responsible for providing electrical maintenance across the plant where required. This is a full time position with the potential to earn $60,000 - $80,000 or more with additional allowances and/or overtime. Wages are paid according to organisational EBA-Industrial Agreement.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Ensure the availability, reliability and capability of the plant assets
• Monitor, follow up and address issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
• Continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
• Communication with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues
• Understand and implement quality control techniques
• Proactive approach in the implementation of preventative maintenance
• Be actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair

About you:

• Two (2) years’ min experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage
• A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
• Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
• Able to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude
• Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work shift work including rotating roster, day and afternoon shift.
