Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our food manufacturing site in Sydney. You will own electrical maintenance, troubleshoot complex faults, and improve reliability across automated plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer role in a food manufacturing environment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve electrical and automation systems.
• Experience with FMCG/automated production environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and condition-based electrical maintenance on production equipment.
• Attend electrical breakdowns, fault-find and repair equipment safely.
• Diagnose faults across PLCs, VSDs, sensors, motors, conveyors and automated equipment.
• Maintain and improve electrical control systems and automation machinery.
• Identify recurring faults and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvements.

Job description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer
10 kilometres west of the central business district
$60–$65 per hour + 15% Monday - Friday AM shift

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established and growing Australian food manufacturing business.

This is a highly hands-on position within a busy, automated manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving the electrical and automation systems across the site, ensuring production equipment remains safe, reliable and operational. The role would suit an experienced electrical professional with a strong background in food manufacturing, FMCG or automated production environments, who enjoys being hands-on and taking ownership of electrical maintenance and breakdowns.

The Role

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Start times generally between 6:00am and 9:00am
• 15% loading for PM shifts
• Occasional PM shifts will be required depending on operational requirements
• You will take ownership of electrical breakdowns and maintenance during PM shifts
• Autonomy and the ability to work independently are essential
• Permanent opportunity within an established food manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities
