Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join an established oilfield services business based in Toowoomba, QLD. This hands-on role ensures workshop assets, field equipment and the vehicle fleet are safe, compliant and ready for deployment.

You will own preventative maintenance programs, coordinate repairs and manage maintenance activities through MEX to support field operations. Strong mechanical aptitude and practical tooling experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in workshop or field services.

• MR driver's license and forklift license.

Brunel is recruiting a Maintenance Coordinator to join an established oilfield services business based in Toowoomba, QLD.

This is a hands-on coordination role responsible for ensuring workshop assets, field equipment and the vehicle fleet are safe, compliant, mechanically reliable and ready for deployment.

Working closely with operations and field personnel, you will take ownership of preventative maintenance and inspection programs, coordinate repairs, manage maintenance activities through MEX and help ensure equipment availability supports the demands of field operations.

This position would suit someone with strong mechanical aptitude and workshop experience who enjoys taking ownership of maintenance priorities, equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

Profile

You will be a mechanically minded maintenance professional with experience in a workshop, field services or heavy equipment environment. Your experience will include:

• Previous workshop or equipment maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
• Experience coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs
• Strong planning, organisation and attention to detail
• Experience with MEX or another CMMS would be highly regarded
• Current MR driver's licence and Forklift licence
• Oil & gas, drilling, mining services or similar industry experience would be advantageous
