Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Rutherford, NSW, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join the Engineering team within a GMP-regulated veterinary pharmaceutical environment. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage CMMS work orders, oversee spare parts, support contractors and capital projects, and help drive continuous improvement to ensure compliant operations.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in safety, risk management and deviations handling to sustain

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Maintenance Coordinator or similar role in manufacturing.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments preferred.
• Strong CMMS experience with work order management & PM scheduling.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities, contractors and spare parts inventory.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Exposure to calibration, commissioning, validation or capital projects preferred.
• Engineering/technical qualifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and CMMS work orders.
• Manage maintenance planning activities and ensure PM schedules are completed on time.
• Coordinate breakdown maintenance and support troubleshooting across operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory, stock control and cycle counting.
• Coordinate external contractors and maintenance service providers.
• Support calibration programs and maintenance system improvements.
• Assist with capital projects including installation, commissioning and qualification.
• Support GMP compliance through audits, deviations and change controls.
• Participate in continuous improvement, safety and risk management initiatives.

About the Company & Role Join a Leading Veterinary Pharmaceutical Company that develops and manufactures veterinary medicines used worldwide.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the Engineering team in Rutherford. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will coordinate preventive maintenance programs, manage CMMS work orders and maintenance schedules, oversee spare parts inventory, support contractors and engineering projects, and ensure maintenance systems remain compliant within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and work orders through the CMMS.
• Manage maintenance planning activities and ensure PM schedules are completed on time.
• Coordinate breakdown maintenance activities and support troubleshooting across manufacturing operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory, stock control and cycle counting activities.
• Coordinate external contractors and maintenance service providers.
• Support calibration programs and maintenance system improvements.

Skills & Experience

• Engineering, technical or trade qualifications (highly regarded)
• Experience as a Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Scheduler or similar role within manufacturing.
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments (highly regarded)
• Strong CMMS experience, including work order management and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities, contractors and spare parts inventory.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Exposure to calibration, commissioning, validation or capital projects (highly regarded)
