Job summary

Kennards Hire is seeking a Maintenance Controller to oversee the branch workshop and ensure high standards in the maintenance and repair of small motor powered equipment. The role includes coordinating Preventative Maintenance and supporting other branches as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a similar role, strong time-management skills, and a valid driver’s licence. Weekend roster allowances apply, with opportunities for career growth within Australia and New Zealand’s

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role or field with a proven track record of strong equipment maintenance and servicing.
Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work in a team or autonomously to meet deadlines.
Effective time management and forward planning to accommodate changes in priorities.
Valid Driver's licence.

Responsibilities

Perform operational equipment repairs and servicing in line with Kennards Ready for Hire quality standards.
Oversee branch workshop operations, maintenance of equipment, parts ordering, PMP coordination, and task allocations for service personnel.
Provide support to other branches for equipment utilisation and repair as required, including possible work at other branches.
Perform branch facilities cleaning and maintenance as required.
Handle pickup/delivery and loading/unloading of equipment.
Be available to work weekends on a rotating roster.
