Job summary

Yunex Traffic in Sydney, NSW, seeks an Operations and Maintenance Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of maintenance activities by coordinating emergency response claims and interfacing between management and scheduling systems.

You will work with operations teams, contractors and clients to meet contractual, financial and documentation obligations, maintain incident records, and prepare reports for management and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience with claims, variations or commercial support functions.
• Experience within the ITS industry and collaboration with operations teams, contractors and client stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with document control system.
• Good commercial and contractual acumen.
• Experience in management and delivery of ITS/TCS projects.
• Transport ITS standards/specifications.
• Knowledge of ITS and traffic signal products from across the industry.
• ISO 9001/45001 system awareness.

Responsibilities

• Collate operational, financial, and supporting evidence required for claims and variations.
• Support the preparation, coordination, and submission of emergency response and incident-related claims to clients.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and maintenance support activities in line with contractual and service requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to support timely delivery of maintenance and response works.
• Interfacing between external contractors and management for efficient scheduling.
• Monitor operational activities to ensure alignment with agreed procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, claims status, and client correspondence.
• Liaise with operations, commercial, and client representatives to resolve claim queries.
• Coordinate financial close-out documentation for completed works and emergency responses.
• Ensure timely submission of close-out packs in line with finance and contract requirements.
• Support transparent and professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing reports and summaries for management and client meetings.
• Respond to customer enquiries as a priority.
