Job summary

BlueCare, a proud part of UnitingCare Queensland, is hiring a Maintenance and Grounds Officer for an aged care facility in Lawnton. You will balance gardening duties, lawn care, and general maintenance while working autonomously on site, supported by regional teams.

The role requires a current Australian driver's license, willingness to obtain NDIS Workers Screening, and proficiency with IT systems. You will engage with residents, staff and contractors to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Current Australian driver’s license – Essential.
• NDIS screening clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Proficiency in IT systems and software.
• Experience in maintenance, plant, equipment, gardening or landscape or ability to learn.
