Job summary

Hamtec Maintenance Solutions – Atherton QLD is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment. You will diagnose faults, repair, replace components, and install new equipment across a variety of industrial settings.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade and have proven maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent is required.
• Maintenance Fitter experience in industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Respond to mechanical breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently.

About you

A recognised Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings and rotating equipment.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Current driver's licence.
