• Experience configuring and maintaining VTAM on IBM z/OS.
• Experience creating application definitions and VTAMLST maintenance.

• Experience managing networks and monitoring resources.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe VTAM Administrator to configure, maintain, and support the network and connectivity layer of our IBM z/OS environment. • Create application definitions and cross-domain resource definitions for new applications.
• Configure TCP/IP networking on z/OS and maintain the TCP/IP profile.
• Manage networks and connectivity, and monitor network resources to identify and resolve issues.
• Support the installation and testing of new network devices.
• Set up and configure VPS (VTAM Printer Support) for mainframe printing.
• Follow change and configuration management processes: test updates and promote them through staging environments.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems with network products and their usage, working with requestors.
