Job summary

AACo is seeking a dedicated Machinery Operator for Avon Downs, Queensland. You will operate graders and other heavy machinery to maintain roads, perform general maintenance, and support station duties as directed by the manager.

Ideal candidates have prior grader/loader/excavator experience, hold relevant licenses or have them as an advantage, and can work independently or in a team in a remote cattle operation environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating graders, loaders and excavators is an advantage.
• MC license is an advantage.
• Licenses to operate the listed machinery.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate graders to maintain station roads and fire breaks.
• Carry out general maintenance and upkeep of machinery.
• Truck driving with side tippers or machinery float.
• Conduct general property observations and follow safety guidelines.
• Undertake general station duties as directed by the manager.
