Job summary

Carel Recruitment in Canberra is seeking experienced Operators and Labourers to join a civil construction team delivering projects in the region. An immediate start is available on both temporary contracting and ongoing roles.

The ideal candidate will have civil construction/earthworks experience, a White Card, and VOCs for operator roles such as roller, excavator or loader. Reliable transport and Monday–Saturday availability are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in civil construction, earthworks or a related trade environment.
• White Card (mandatory).
• Relevant tickets or VOCs for operator roles such as roller, excavator or loader.
• Reliable transport and availability Monday to Saturday.
• A strong safety mindset and solid work ethic.
• Australian citizens and permanent residents only.
• Any offer is subject to a pre employment drug and alcohol test.
• Only Canberra based candidates will be contacted for this position.

Pay and conditions

Current hourly base rates depend on classification and experience, with permanent ongoing positions also available.
