Job summary

Visy Food Can is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Yatala. This ongoing casual role offers consistent hours, attractive pay, and a pathway to permanent full-time employment. Shifts are 6:00am–6:00pm on a rotating 3/4 day cycle, Monday to Friday.

You will operate high-speed production equipment, conduct quality inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Forklift licence is desirable but not required.

Ongoing Casual Opportunity with Pathway to Permanent Employment

Visy Food Can is seeking an experienced Machine Operator with Mechanical knowledge to join our manufacturing team in Yatala. This is an ongoing casual opportunity offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position.

About the Role

• Rotating day shift roster: 6:00am to 6:00pm
• Monday to Friday roster only
• Work 3 days one week and 4 days the next
• Attractive pay rate of $47.46 per hour
• Opportunity to work within a leading Australian manufacturing business

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous machine operating experience within a high-speed FMCG, packaging, food, beverage, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.
• A high attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
• A strong focus on workplace health and safety.
• Reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Availability to work 12-hour rotating day shifts.

Desirable:

• Current Forklift Licence.
