Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking a highly experienced construction plant operator to join our Melbourne team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in a similar role, be mature, reliable, organised and punctual, with a professional attitude.

Essential to hold a valid Driver's Licence/HC Licence, White Card and Crane Truck ticket. You will operate excavators from 3.5 to 15 tonnes and a Bobcat, set levels accurately, and communicate clearly with site teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role.
• Must be mature, reliable, organised and punctual.
• Self motivated and reliability essential.
• Experience with concrete & civil contractors is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators (3.5–15 ton) and Bobcat.
• Set levels accurately and maintain safe work practices.
• Collaborate with long‑standing concrete and civil contractors.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and professional attitude.
