Job summary

Workforce Extensions is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our busy manufacturing team in Sydney and operate within the Soft Gel Department. The role emphasizes hands-on machine operation, setting up equipment, and maintaining production runs to meet daily targets.

You will work the Day Shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm, with plenty of overtime and potential 12-hour days. This role requires reliability, experience in manufacturing, and willingness to work overtime within a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Machine Operator or Production Operator.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Pharma/food/FMCG production experience advantageous.
• Able to follow SOPs, GMP and safety procedures.
• Mechanically minded with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor soft gel manufacturing equipment.
• Set up, start and monitor machines during production runs.
• Load materials and ensure machinery runs efficiently.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot.
• Monitor product quality and identify production issues.
• Complete production paperwork and follow batch requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow GMP, hygiene, quality and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet targets.

Machine Operator – Manufacturing | Day Shift + Plenty of Overtime

6:00am – 2:00pm | Overtime Available | Up to 12-Hour Shifts | Ongoing Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Machine Operators to join a busy and growing manufacturing team working within the Soft Gel Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on machine operation, is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and is looking for consistent hours with plenty of overtime available.

The Role

Working within the Soft Gel Department, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring soft gel manufacturing machinery
• Setting up, starting and monitoring machines throughout production runs
• Loading materials and ensuring machinery is running efficiently
• Completing basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
• Monitoring product quality and identifying any production issues
• Completing production paperwork and following batch requirements
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following strict GMP, hygiene, quality and safety procedures
• Working closely with production and quality teams to meet daily targets

Hours

• Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Plenty of overtime available
• Opportunity to work up to 12-hour days
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to work additional hours when production requires

What We're Looking For

• Previous Machine Operator or Production Operator experience
• Manufacturing experience highly regarded
• Pharmaceutical, food, FMCG or similar production experience advantageous
• Mechanically minded with confidence operating machinery
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable with a good attitude and work ethic
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
