Job summary

Manpower in Heidelberg West is seeking an Experienced Machine Operator to join our production team on an immediate-start basis. This ongoing casual role runs on the day shift (7:00am–3:00pm) with the option to transition to the afternoon shift (3:00pm–11:00pm).

You will operate, monitor and adjust food production machinery, adhere to HACCP and GMP standards, and work with the team to meet daily targets. There is potential for the role to become a full-time permanent position based on performance

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator, ideally in food manufacturing.
• Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food production machinery including mixers, slicers, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
• Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Set up machines for production runs and adjust settings as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across machinery and workstations.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and report faults promptly.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily targets.

Heidelberg West Location | Ongoing Monday to Friday Work | Weekly Pay

A leading national food manufacturer is seeking an Experienced Machine Operator to join their production team in Heidelberg West.

This is an ongoing casual opportunity with an immediate start, commencing on the day shift (7:00am to 3:00pm) and also opportunity to transition to the afternoon shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm) if you want to.

There is a strong opportunity for the role to transition into a full-time permanent position based on performance and business requirements.

Pay Rates

• Day Shift (7:00am to 3:00pm): $34.96 per hour + super
• Afternoon Shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm): $40.20 per hour + super
• Weekly pay

About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the production team to maintain productivity targets while adhering to strict quality, safety, and food manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities
