Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate batch pre-expander to achieve consistent density on every batch.
• Operate moulding machines to meet daily production targets.
• Perform density checks and finished product load testing.
• Operate re-grind equipment to maintain acceptable scrap levels.
• Assist with cutting EPS pods to required sizes; monitor steam systems supporting production.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Conduct regular machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete accurate production and quality records.

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Machine Operator to join our EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) manufacturing team in Brisbane.

This is a hands-on role operating batch pre-expanders, moulding machines and re-grind equipment, with responsibility for maintaining product quality, managing scrap levels, and supporting safe and efficient factory operations.

This is a technical operator position suited to someone who takes ownership of their machines and work standards.

Key Duties

• Operate batch pre-expander to achieve consistent density on every batch
• Operate moulding machines to meet daily production targets
• Perform density checks and finished product load testing
• Operate re-grind equipment to maintain acceptable scrap levels
• Assist with cutting EPS pods to required sizesMonitor steam systems supporting production
• Ability to assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues
• Conduct regular machine maintenance and cleaning

• Complete accurate production and quality records

About You

• 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating industrial machinery (EPS experience advantageous)

• Physically capable of working in a fast-paced factory environment
