Job summary

Polystar in Brisbane is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for EPS production to operate batch pre-expanders, moulding machines and re-grind equipment. You will maintain product quality, manage scrap levels and support safe, efficient factory operations.

This hands-on role suits someone with 2–5 years' manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude and a safety-first mindset. Overtime and ongoing training are available in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating industrial machinery (EPS experience advantageous).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate batch pre-expander to achieve consistent density on every batch.
• Operate moulding machines to meet daily production targets.
• Perform density checks and finished product load testing.
• Operate re-grind equipment to maintain acceptable scrap levels.
• Assist with cutting EPS pods to required sizes; monitor steam systems supporting production.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Conduct regular machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete accurate production and quality records.
